This Easter season, join us at the Ulster American Folk Park for live music, traditional games and the history of the Easter egg!  

From Sunday 5th to Tuesday 7th April, discover Easter traditions like the custom of cross-roads dancing, learn about the history of the Easter egg, and leave a message on the Easter Tree. 

Listen to live music in rural Ulster and America, and take part in traditional games including the classic egg and spoon race! Take a horse and carriage ride and watch an exciting magic show. Try tasty samples of barnbrack and hot-cross buns, plus get some Easter treats from the café. 

Bring you're little ones along for the Easter Card Trail and take part in Easter themed craft activities. Dress-up in different Easter bonnets and accessories for a family photo!

Everything you need to know about Easter at the Folk Park

Visiting on Easter Tuesday? The Meath Travellers Workshops have recreated a real-life scene showing what the the lives of travellers in 1950s Ireland would have looked like. See a restored Barrel-top wagon, a traditional tent, a flat-cart and campfire.

Stop by our giftshop to pick up some Spring souvenirs to bring home.

Visit the café for some tasty treats and Easter goodies, like a slice of homemade simnel cake.
